Death To Drug Dealers...

February 25th 2007 23:53
A mayor wants to introduce legislation to seek the death penalty for convicted crack and heroin dealers. Don't start jumping for joy prematurely!

He also wants to legalize marijuana. Double-standards seem to have become a norm in politics. Marijuana may be considered the lesser of evils but it is still illegal, nonetheless! The fact that one wants to ban 'hardcore' and legalize a 'soft' drug makes one wonder about alterior motives. In other words, does the mayor use illegal marijuana, and can we believe him???

Protecting The Royal Soldier

February 19th 2007 21:47
Prince Harry is set to deploy for battle in Iraq. What's important is that he doesn't get hurt! It almost seems like a symbolic event since the troops will have to give the Prince more security than the towns they patrol.

The Beauty Of Cleopatra?

February 14th 2007 21:08
I'm not sure how good the ancient Romans were when it came to putting images on coins. If the image of Cleopatra is accurate then we've been duped for centuries. On an ancient coin that was found at Newcastle University, Cleopatra isn't as beautiful as one would think. Nor is Mark Anthony as handsome as he is portrayed.

This goes to show how things can be distorted with time. Then again who would go see a movie or buy related merchandise if Cleo was ugly?

Junior Narcs Bust Dopey Teacher

No matter how much people complain about today's education, you have to admire when fourth graders are able to give every detail of a crime they witnessed. Under certain circumstances, when children as young as 9 and 10 years-old make accusations against teachers they are taken with a grain of salt and approched cautiously. Other witnesses have to come forward and it becomes one big mess, even if it is found that the teacher is guilty. You have those who can't believe such a thing and those who hope they fry.

Suckers!

February 9th 2007 23:54
I'm sure that you are honest and I don't question that. After all, a criminal will never admit to his crime. Honesty is always the best policy, is it not? Do you often return a found treasure? Then why are so many so called treasures lost? I'm trying to set the stage of a strange phenomenon called 'honest cabbie' which includes those who get stiffed on a tip.

A New York City cabbie gets a 30 cent tip on a fare over $10. He finds a bag containing 31 diamond rings that was left by the tightwad passenger. The cabbie returns the loot
