Coming To A School Near You

June 30th 2009 23:32
Remember the French trying to ban the burka that I wrote about awhile back? Now comes a way to go International! So it's a niqab, or face veil, it leaves only the eyes exposed.

If you caught my comment about schools and religion in the burka entry, you would wonder if this wasn't a planned move to claim religious insensitivity and discrimination. Perhaps the Catholic school did go a bit too far, after all we are trying to teach kids diversity. But one has to wonder about events that seem staged.

From the article:
Schools have been allowed to restrict the wearing of veils after two key judgments in 2006 and 2007.

Classroom assistant Aishah Azmi and a 12-year-old girl lost their legal battles to wear veils in class.

Ministers opted against an outright ban, saying it was for individual schools and councils to decide

Michael's Kids Are Not His Kids!

June 30th 2009 22:40
Let the circus that still is Michael Jackson begin. Enter the incubator Debbie Rowe!

She is claiming she doesn't want MJ's kids, and goes on to say that they aren't even his!

Most of us don't really find this hard to believe. It's as if we are suppose to forget all that was bizarre.

I predicted that they would find lost songs of some sort. The bottom line is that it is all about the money!

I'm going to play a game where I predict the future of the Michael Jackson rumors that will arise. Like the original KING of rock or pop, Elvis Presely, MJ has compared himself to him. Elvis died of an alleged OD and current news puts Michael there, too! Michael who was married to Elvis' daughter has compared himself to the Real King before. Plus there are trends that will repeat themselves.

So I predict that Michael Jackson sightings will be a future trend. Many Elvis sightings have come up after his death. Denial that Jackson is dead seem inevitable since it will increase record sales in the future!

After the death of an artist there will be an increase in record sales. Once the sales drop we can expect never before released studio material to keep fanning the fire sales!

Of course, Neverland and a MJ museum will soon charge you to view a perv's lair! Neverland and Graceland are pretty similar after all!

Ironically 79 and 09 are kind of a good conspiracy stories. They both have Lisa Marie as a connection!

I may have left some out but lets consider it a common connection of conspiracies that will tie Jackson to Elvis that will emerge in the future.

French Considering Burka Ban

June 24th 2009 22:25
Remember when France banned the headscarf in schools? Being a believer in the separation of church and state, I agree religious symbols should not be allowed if exposed in schools. Public schools in Italy, which is predominantly Catholic, had to remove crucifixes from schools when they began having a growing Muslim population. Since the headscarf is a religious symbol, it should not be allowed in public schools. On the other hand, if the school is a religious school, such as a Catholic schools here in the US, then symbols can be displayed. Some are also known as private schools.

Now France considers a burka ban. The French President considers it not a religious symbol but a sign of subservience. He says it is not welcome in France which has a staunchly secular constitution

If You Can't Ban Them Control Them

June 23rd 2009 00:31
Poor, poor smokers. The world seems to be against you and it's about to get worse. Our smoking President is about to make your life miserable. The anti-smoking areas inside and out, the high prices, etc., I know how tough it has been. Well he's about to sign a tougher anti-smoking bill that will give the FDA an authority to regulate tobacco like never before.

I had my own struggles with trying to stop smoking when I smoked. I finally quit cold-turkey when my doctor diagnosed me with cancer and gave me the facts that if I continue smoking, I would die. That was 11 years ago, and I never looked back. I never liked being lectured when I smoked, and I am not anyones mother. We all know the dangers of tobacco. We hear about it all the time

Scientology Revealed

June 22nd 2009 21:38
High ranking defectors from the Church of Scientology give an inside look into the cult. Yes, you can now list the, a-hem, Church as a cult when you read their tactics.

It focuses on the fearless leader David Miscavige. Lets not forget the celebrities that endorse this dribble. I won't name them but they do endorse this cult.

Were You In Fort Meyers On Monday?

June 20th 2009 17:27
If you have children between the ages of 10-12 and were on a Fort Meyers beach on Monday, you may want to ask them if they played with a bat. I'm not talking about a baseball bat, but rather the animal type. Seems the Health Department is seeking three boys that tossed, played and kissed a bat that had rabies.

Three kids have been found, including a girl who witnessed the incident and then took the bat to a wildlife rehabilitation center. The bat was examined, euthanized and found to have rabies. The children have about 4 days to show up and begin the painful shot regiment to prevent them from being at the mercy of the deadly disease

Iran vs. Internet

June 19th 2009 19:46
The youth of Iran have found a powerful tool to help in their struggles with the government, among other things. It is the Internet that has bought the world to Iran and Iran to the world. Iran is learning that it can suppress its youth that grow tired of having to lead dual lives.

What dual lives? The fact that they have to be Islamic by day, and party people at night. Their parties are fueled with alcohol and marijuana, which basically go against the supreme rules of their totalitarian state. Still a new generation rises, and more so than the evil West, Iran has to fear itself from within.

Sure They Did!

June 16th 2009 17:54
I might have missed the fact that former President Jimmy Carter was in the Middle East. Then again I probably didn't care that much. Mr. Carter is on one of his humanistic tours, no doubt.

Here's something that might be hard to believe. Hamas foiled a plot to assassinate the former Prez

You Never Cheat Death

June 12th 2009 18:00
News is still coming in over the ill-fated Air France disaster. Now comes a story about those who missed the doomed flight because they arrived late at the airport. Sometimes there is an ironic twist to such stories.

Seems that an Italian couple who missed the flight, was involved in a tragic car accident while they were driving home to Italy. The woman has died and the man in critical condition

Reality shows have become an icon for quite sometime now. The fascination often escapes me because I can't see what's so great if someone survives on an island, wins a celebrity contest, loses weight, lives in a haunted house, has 35 kids, is having sex in a cutthroat contest, etc.

Since reality shows exist it goes without saying that ratings are high and so is the money from their sponsors. In reality(the REAL world), Reality TV(the REEL world) is choreographed and edited like anything else on television. Yet people are fascinated by it. It doesn't bother anyone that Susan Boyle is an overnight Britney Spears? She went to mental institution and went shopping when she got out, just like Britney

Guns For Jesus

June 5th 2009 22:18
I recently wrote about how some individual's stupidity leads to problems for the rest of us. When it comes to religion, the acts of the few leads to the generalization of the whole. Many believe that because of the acts of a few fanatics, that is what the religion is all about.

Evil, stupidity, prejudice, fear, misunderstanding, etc., are found in all races, religions, national origins, and people of all denominations. We often will point to the evil side of people when they think they are more righteous, or better than, others

Disclaimer: Please do not think these ideologies are mine or that this is open to discussion. I know that if you want to have a heated discussion just discuss politics or religion. Ironically, the two are pretty similar! I just find it laughable that most major religions favor man.

Major religions favor man regardless of how different their belief system are. Does this surprise, shock, or horrify you? Don't shoot the messenger, please.
