The separation of church and state should be a requirement by all countries and all religions. But this is hardly the case. In some places all religions are treated equal, but some are more equal than others.
In Oklahoma, CAIR is suing over Sharia Law Amendment!
From the article:
"I would like to see Oklahoma politicians explain if this means that the courts can no longer consider the Ten Commandments.(Courts don't consider the Ten Commandments. They might have similarities with 4-10 because they have to do with man's crimes against man.)
Isn't that a precept of another culture and another nation? The result of this is that judges aren't going to know when and how they can look at sources of American law that were international law in origin."(I think judges can do their jobs.)
CAIR argues that the law could negatively impact Muslims living in Oklahoma in a variety of ways, from potentially changing how food is labeled to requiring them to remove head scarves for driver's license photos.(Head scarves shouldn't be in driver's license photos any more than hats. This illustrates the very meaning of Sharia Law.)
In addition, CAIR said that the measure has nothing to do with punishments such as stonings, which are often associated with Islamic law.(Actually this is a CAIR smokescreen. We associate Sharia Law to being a religious law that if allowed to enter state laws, will eventually become a norm for both Muslims and non-Muslims! It also becomes a way to separate the two by the way they are treated.)
