In case you didn't know this, the Muslim population will double in the US and increase significantly worldwide.

Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen. It does mean more influence and more political power. If we use Europe as a model, it may not be good for some. Muslim women average five children, thus the population growth.

Since this report came out, it has become a PR frenzy for both the pros and the cons. Some scramble to preach doom and gloom, while others scramble to put a peaceful face on the situation. I just tell it the way I see it. I am European so you might say that I've seen both ends of the spectrum.

Killing For Honor

I wrote about it elsewhere. The concept that was sweeping Europe as honor killings were on the rise. I warned that eventually it will arrive here, and once it did, it will become common everywhere. So can you guess what this is about?

The typical theme of an honor killing seems to be a girl or woman becoming westernized! Say what you will, but we haven't heard the last of these honor killings. Much like 'hate' crimes, honor killings should be put in a special category where people are sentenced to more severe punishments.

I can't understand why people who hate Western civilization, come here in the guise of making a better life for themselves? They are nothing more than hypocrites and fools as they prove that they want us to conform to them.

...whoever 'them' are!

Gayest Pride

I always thought that San Francisco was the gayest city in America. Apparently the demographics are shifting. Atlanta was last year's gayest city winner. This year it slips to number 7!

This year's winner is...drum roll...W3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUnciaec8O7EyUsl" target="_blank">Minneapolis!

I wondered if this would cause a backlash on the city.

What about those who don't view "gayest" as positive? Breen said he knows of no city on last year's list suffering backlash. "I would laugh if anybody took it as seriously as that. If anyone wouldn't come to Minneapolis because of our list, I would be disappointed in their sense of humor -- and very sad."

The Start

If you can't see an attack on Christianity, then perhaps you aren't looking or closing your eyes to it. Aside from attacks in Arab countries recently, Christian values worldwide are being threatened. They start small and may seem insignificant, but soon they rear their ugly heads.

In England and Wales, the YWCA drops the word Christian and change its name to Platform 51. It will still continue to get Christian funding, just not practice Christian values since the name does not reflect the people it serves!
