Masked Democracy

February 16th 2011 06:05
If you don't think there is a dark side to all this democracy hoopla in the Middle East, then you are only fooling yourself. It's a ploy to open the door to an Islamic invasion. Crazy talk, isn't it? You should read Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis by Bat Ye'Or. We have colliding civilizations of West and Islam.

Since getting their democracy, I find it laughable that the Tunisians are beating feet! Why leave your new found freedom?

From the article:

More than 5,000 illegal immigrants have recently washed up on Italy's southern islands — an unintended consequence of the "people's revolution" that ousted autocrat Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and inspired the uprisings in Egypt and beyond.
(Italy is screwed!)

European powers cheered when Tunisia's 74-year-old ruler fled into exile in Saudi Arabia on Jan. 14, but the fallout a month later has tempered their enthusiasm. It has also exposed a dilemma for western countries that allied with repressive leaders in North Africa seen as bulwarks against extremism, and now must build new diplomatic relationships in a still-uncertain political climate.
(The Europeans suddenly woke up to the fact that they have been duped by a loophole that sets them up for a mass INVASION!)

On Monday, the European Union announced a euro258 million ($347 million) aid package to Tunisia from now until 2013, with euro17 million ($22.9 million) of that to be delivered immediately. EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, visiting Tunisia, said the funds were a gift, not a loan.
(Yes that's it make it better by sending money to those that orchestrated this initial invasion).

Meanwhile, Tunisia sternly rejected Italy's offer to send police there to help tackle waves of illegal migrants fleeing political upheaval, most landing on the tiny Italian island of Lampedusa — an arid one-town island of 6,000 people.
(They are Italy's problem now! After all Rome is a freedom fighter's target...noticed I didn't say te*ro*ist?)

Lampedusa's Mayor Bernardino Rubeis told AP Television News that the island's detention center for migrants h....yeah he says that there isn't enough police force, the doors are open and the immigrants are wandering about. Not causing any trouble. That's because the real trouble is probably on its way to Sicily. When massive illegals wash ashore, you are bound to lose one or two, or ten or a hundred!

I expect Egypt, Yemen, Algiers, etc. and the other Democracy seeking Muslims to mass immigrate into other European countries. Then it's only a matter of time before the population increases in the United States. If democracy truly reaches Iran, that would really prove my point!

Rogue Democracy

February 14th 2011 20:33
The people pf Tunisia and Egypt seemed to fight for democracy and the overthrow of their dictatorship regime. As if on cue, other Muslim dictatorship seem to be following suit.

With the internet, word is getting out and protests are scheduled in Iran, Libya, and Yemen. That should raise a red-flag that these protests for democracy that are being staged may have a hidden agenda. Yemen still remains an al Qaeda stronghold, so the democracy fight should be taken with a grain of salt. This looks like a prime ground zero where al Qaeda can enter politics, much like Hamas in Palestine.

All these protests are doing is overthrowing one government with another that can be less West-friendly and more Terror-friendly!

Bahrain on the other hand, pays off the protesters before they start!

Religious Equality?

February 7th 2011 18:49
We always hear how peaceful and loving most religions are. Perhaps they really are. It's the tolerance issue that might not be in all their cards. That's fine, unless they use tolerance to in a hypocritical way. Something like "Tolerate us, but we don't have to tolerate you" mentality!

Welcome to the It Will Never Happen Here issue. Of course it won't happen here, because in Western society the person must be given a trial before being put to death!

Man In The Mirror

February 1st 2011 19:04
A man was arrested with explosives at a Dearborn, Michigan mosque. Somehow I don't think that this surprises anyone too much. After all a mosque is bound to have weapons that will be used by terrorists. Surprising? Only that they got caught.

The terrorist in this case seemed to be one that nobody would expect. He was a regular guy planning an attack on the mosque

Brutal Dictators Serve Democracy

February 1st 2011 18:21
Regardless what you think about the brutal dictators in the Middle East, they do serve a purpose for the rest of us. That according to a CNBC anchor who claims that oil prices would skyrocket if countries broke away from their dictatorships.

If that is true, then we should stop trying to dictate to dictators how to run their countries!

al Qaeda in Yemen has made a new threat against the United States. They are threatening financial institutions and executives. Operatives may try to send chemical and biological weapons through the mail...again!
