Today's business world is targetting the Muslim populations. Months ago a story on one of the world news channels talked about how Muslims according to their beliefs must never go in debt. Funny but the Bible says 'let not a borrower or beggar be' yet Christians don't think twice about living beyond their means. If I am misquoting anything, just consider it the basic idea of what I'm writing about.
Now the story on the news talked about how banks and mortgage companies are going to make it easier for Muslims to buy homes. The basic idea is that it will not be considered a 'debt' but something else. Don't quote me but it's like a rent-to-own type deal. They showed part of the agreement on camera and the word Sharia was in there. The point is that Corporate America is gearing towards future demographics. This is not a bad thing, it is business.
A story that caught my eye today is about the Islamic body saying that health insurance is gambling,. Basically this means that paying into health insurance is illegal. They urge all Muslims to not buy into them. So who pays the inevitable doctor bills that will come sooner or later in life?
Just a thought.
