Falsifying Employment Figures
September 18th 2010 19:14
Numbers don't lie, but they can be altered to suit an agenda. With the unemployment figures reaching a new high, it makes the Obama Administration look as if they are out of touch with reality. They continue to say that jobs are being created and the stimulus is working. Most know it isn't working, and most jobs created are low paying or temporary.
When the Census workers were hired, some thought they were used to falsify the figures temporarily. After all at their hiring they were put on a government payroll.
Now the elections will soon be upon us. A question would be, " Are the poll workers going to be used to inflate the employment figures[LINK=http://www.nypost.com/p/news/business/are_poll_wor?" They now may have to report their income to the IRS, which means that something smells funny in government!
Also the dates the report is due before the election and after makes another convenience in falsifying figures. The temporary assignments make it look like jobs are on the rise. The other flip of the coin is that seasonal temps will start right after the election. This will again make it look like job growth is continuing up until February when the January report comes out!
