Good Or Bad It Makes Money!

Years ago in Anytown, USA there was a Drive-In at a busy intersection. Sometimes the picture would show bigger than life naked women. Since there was nothing really blocking the view, everybody of all ages got to watch. Traffic jams and accidents happened often during these films. No one ever really stopped it, but like most others, this Drive-In eventually went out of style. That Drive-In did a heck of a business and the complainers helped it out!
I wrote about offensive billboards. Sometimes it seems that no matter what a sign is meant for, in some cases, somebody gets offended by it. Sometimes there is a legitimate gripe, sometimes it's overblown, sometimes it makes no sense, and other times one should consider the source.
Quickie Burger irks LGBT group. Like a movie that gets a record attendance anytime a Christian group protests it, I get a feeling that this place is going to do a hell of a business!
This is about trying to give something negative publicity and having it backfire, not about which group protests what. I'll bet that sexy billboard for Bottoms Up, that I wrote about has people coming from miles around to see it. I'll bet attendance at the club is at an all time high!
Entertainers and business people know that even negative publicity is good. And nothing beats free publicity!
