Hamas Wants Its Weapons Back!

June 5th 2010 13:14
Hamas refuses to take back the aid seized by Israel. At first the reason may seem like a worthy cause.
From the article:
"We refuse to receive the humanitarian aid until all those who were detained aboard the ships are released," said Ahmed Kurd, Minister for Social Welfare in the Hamas government said.

Then he goes and spoils it by saying:"We also insist that the equipment be delivered in its entirety."

He must be talking about THIS.

In my opinion what we need to do to resolve the situation in Gaza is

1. UN force must get involve to overthrow the Hamas goverment

2. Gaza should become its own independent state

3. After becoming an independent state Gaza should remain unarm for the first 50 years, with its defense been left up to the UN Defense force.

4. Israel most likely to have done nothing wrong in the Flotila incident. But it is difficult to tell for certain as it is impossible for us to get all the information, therefore Israel should remain under UN supervision for the next 50 years too with UN supervision base resident at Isarel. If Israel doesn't plan to do anything wrong, they got nothing to hide.

5. After Gaza become an independent state, Gaza and Israel should have a none aggressive pack, to remain peace between the two nations

6. the border between Israel and Gaza should remain firmly close for at least the next fifity years, like it is now, to prevent further comflict between the two nations

7. Once Hamas goverment has been overthrow, Israel should sieze its navel bloackage on Gaza

I agree with you for the most part.

The fact that aboard the ship they were waiting for the Israeli attack proves that Israel had been fired upon.

As far as peace and a non aggression pact, it has been proven over and over again that the Palistinians break the treaties and cry foul when Israel reacts.

The UN is the most useless entity in the world. They don't strive for peace but rather protect aggressors that aren't a superpower, for the most part.

Remember the was between Israel and Hamas' buddy, Hezbollah? The UN helped Hezbollah in a big way.

Really Long Link

The Palestinians have been given an opportunity for a separate state again and again, but want it on their terms, and according to the Hamas charter that means that Israel must cease to exist.

What people don't talk about is that Israel gives the Palestinians more aid than most nations, if you don't include weapons. And contrary to popular belief, there are sections where both Israeli and Palestinians co-exist in peace!
