Poor, poor smokers. The world seems to be against you and it's about to get worse. Our smoking President is about to make your life miserable. The anti-smoking areas inside and out, the high prices, etc., I know how tough it has been. Well he's about to sign a tougher anti-smoking bill that will give the FDA an authority to regulate tobacco like never before.
I had my own struggles with trying to stop smoking when I smoked. I finally quit cold-turkey when my doctor diagnosed me with cancer and gave me the facts that if I continue smoking, I would die. That was 11 years ago, and I never looked back. I never liked being lectured when I smoked, and I am not anyones mother. We all know the dangers of tobacco. We hear about it all the time.
By Obama giving this unprecedented authority to the FDA, they will be able to regulate the nicotine. I am going to predict that what this means is that if you don't quit, you'll be smoking more. The irony is that even if you are willing to keep your habit, you'll be spending a bit more than you do already.

Many I know have quit when cigarettes went to $6US a pack, pledging never to go back, because of the price. All have returned to their habit even though most tried patches, pills, etc.
I keep saying this and this is why I hate to preach...YOU HAVE TO WANT TO QUIT OR NOTHING WILL WORK.
