The next time you speed up to outrun a yellow light to beat the red, you may get a ticket in the mail. This is really nothing new and has been used for years. What is new is that money-strapped cities are finding a way to make a large profit with this practice. Al thisl at the expense of public safety.

Cities are shortening the yellow lights time. The cities seem to choose profit over preventing deadly accidents.
