When people began demanding that the 9/11 Mosque be investigated as to who the financial backers were, most knew the Saudis would be involved. A Saudi prince, who has contributed to the group run by the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, is appealing that the center be moved to another location.
He doesn't want the Islamic center associated with the "wound" of 9/11. Sounds like the prince may understand the sensitivity of the American people. Or he may not want any investigations following money matters. The clear answer will be in the final answer of whether the mosque remains or finds another location.
