Right To Die

A woman with multiple sclerosis has won her battle to have the law on assisted suicide clarified. The irony seems to be that the woman feels she got her life back with the ruling. This now will set a precedence for future laws of euthanasia worldwide. It may also add to a suicide epidemic in that many will follow the act feeling it is acceptable.
The woman wants her husband to assist her at her suicide. She wants the law clarified to insure that he will not be prosecuted.
Suicide is suicide and assistance is murder. Most may not agree with me. I don't agree with suicide, having worked in the mental health field for a few years. Sure opinions have evolved about suicide due to disease or pain, but the message as a whole will make it acceptable. Assisted or not, you can't hide it from young people who are impressionable and tend to imitate. Teenage suicide is on the rise again.
