Apparently if you are homosexual in the Muslim world, you can be arrested or perhaps killed. There are actually two countries in the Arab world that are more tolerant toward homosexuals. They are Lebanon and Morocco. Now through these countries Arab homosexuals seem to be getting a voice.
Lebanon has had an online magazine for gays since 2007. It is called Bekhsoos. Now Morocco will be the first Arab country to put out a gay magazine in print called Milthy. Milthy is a term of respect towards homosexuals unlike shazz and zemel.
It is going to be interesting to see how this develops as homosexuality is met head on with yet another strong religious belief against the practice.
