Some people have such an addictive personality that it leads to stupidity. That's what is happening to people addicted to gaming especially those that are labeled as virtually similar to reality. A couple up for Parents of the Year starves their real child while raising a virtual one!
Since the world has gotten smaller we can see that some inhabitants are truly anti-social. To raise a virtual child at the expense of your real child shows why dogs are a delicacy in some cultures.
