It's been over eight years and still there is no sign of the main target from 9/11. Osama bin Laden continues to avoid capture. Each day that bin Laden remains free is great PR for al Qaeda.
Apparently his ill health has been over exaggerated. It is doubtful that he and Ayman al-Zawahiri are living in a cave. We know that bin Laden is still alive because his tapes and videos are consistent with world events.
Bin Laden is still running the overall operations of the terror group, even if it isn't on a daily basis. New strategies are occurring which may bring about his capture or demise, either being acceptable to the United States. Only time will tell if finding Waldo is successful!
